Subsequently, a GST challan must be generated before or after the login to the GST portal or during the GST return filing.
Let's understand the process of payment of GST!
1. Access the https://www.gst.gov.in/ URL. The GST Home page is displayed.
2. Login to the GST Portal with valid credentials.
3. Go to Services>>Payments>>Create Challan. Select an applicable option and click PROCEED.

4. Fill in the amounts, select the payment mode, and click GENERATE CHALLAN.

5. Challan details will be displayed. You can pay GST immediately or access this challan from Challan history.
For payment, select the mode of payment, and bank name and check the terms and conditions box. The click MAKE PAYMENT.

6. This will direct you to the respective bank’s website. You can make payments through net banking, Credit /Debit card or UPI.
You can pay the GST without logging in to the GST portal.
